What is there to do in Japan for a Month? and How much Should i bring? ?

Me and my old friends want is going to Japan because we all hit 21 and we planned this out, but we are probably staying in Tokyo and rent a apartment for a month, what should we do that would be fun and make the trip worth wild?
How much should we bring?
We are going to split the cost of the apartment also
and we got the inflatable furniture ready and the microwave =]
But we are not sure what to do

Look around you, what would you see hot Japanese girls (unless you are female just begging to be loved, do you hear that that is the sound of inevitability, that is the sound of Japanese girls calling..
Sounds like a lot of fun.
If your going to buy a lot of souvenirs there then I would bring as little as possible. Just remember that what you bring with you your going to have to bring back so don’t take anything you don’t absolutely need.

Bring as little items as you think you can survive on, and as much money as you can.
Japan is such a different country and a great experience, that you really won’t need to plan much. Just wondering around Tokyo is going to be an amazing experience to anyone that hasn’t been before.
Don’t be afraid to strike up a conversation immediately with most foreigners and ask them what they recommend to do. As well, try often to start asking Japanese people the same question when you sit next to them on trains or in restaurants, etc. Ask often enough, especially to the opposite sex, and you are likely to get some offers to be shown around. Any rejection will be a smile and perhaps a giggle. They expect foreigners to act “strange”. However, besides naturally being friendly and priding themselves in being excellent hosts, many Japanese want a chance to practice their English with a native speaker. You will need patience though, and you will need to practice listening carefully to what they think they are saying, rather than the actual sounds coming out of their mouths.
If you are a male and into it, a month spent doing nothing but bar hopping and girl chasing in Tokyo will fly by in an instant and will not likely be regretted.
If you are a girl, the same can apply, with plenty of Japanese and Foreign guys to socialize with. On the less salacious side of things, there will also be plenty of Japanese girls happy to make new Western female friends.
In either case, Tokyo literally has thousands of bars. Hunting down and experiencing a wide range of smaller and more intimate bars can become a past time in itself. They key is to make friends and ask around for new bars.
With all of that, the advice you’ll get while there, the people you’ll meet, the new foods you’ll try, and new experiences, seeing a few temples, you’ll have a blast and a month will not seem nearly long enough. Even going to a convenience store will be an interesting experience.
My final adventure to offer is possibly to climb Mt. Fuji. Do some net searching on it. Its more of a walk than a climb.
Don’t forget that jet lag is going to take a savage toll on you for nearly a week. If you do decide to plan out your activities, keep them light in the first 5 or so days at least.
