6 Blow jobs a day
some parts of england change a flat about 500 pounds to 800pounds a month so there might be a few cheaper places that are cheaper so shop around for a good flat that don´t cost too much….
As if you could handle more than one.
£160 a week I think.
You may want to flat share starting £80 a week
An arm and your first born. Forget London its way to expensive. You will have to rent somewhere outside of London at least 25 miles away in any direction.
I went to Imperial and rented a room (double room in a shared flat) and it was £110 per week excluding all bills, that was two years ago in Earls Court (couple of tube stops away from campus). That was very reasonable for somewhere quite pleasant. I’m not talking posh apartment, I’m talking no insects/rats, not in a basement, not too noisy, reasonable sized rooms, functioning furniture & washing machine. You can get cheaper flatshares if you lower your standards or if you share with more people, or if you share a room, or if you commute in from zones 3-6 (which is what lots of people end up doing). If you are prepared to commute then you may be able to afford your own place, but again it depends how fussy you are about the area and whether you have a partner to share the rent with. People who commute tend to have much nicer places and think the travel is worth it, people who stay central have not so nice places and no money but think it’s worth it to have the whole of London on their doorstep.
My advice: beg and plead to stay in halls and stay there as long as you can – worked for me – that was about £80 for an ensuite room.
go with prion’s advice – halls of residence are always the cheapest, safest and closest options you could get. also, for your info, Imperial is one of the top uni’s – so good choice. but it is by far not the only uni that does your course… go to:
and search by course.. you’ll find so many more. good luck!
If in London, it cost you a lot and try to consult with Imperial staff and I’m pretty sure they’ve a lot of usefull contacts. Maybe you’ll get lower price. Good luck !.
Hi there
The short answer is a flatshare from as little as £60 pw to £1000s for a luxury flat in Kensington.
If you rent on the outskirts of London and travel in by tube (about 30 -60 mins depending on location) it is much cheaper. It is a balance with commute time and how much you can pay. As a starting point find out what tube lines are near the place you will be studying at.
Renting a room, e.g. flat or house share, is the cheapest, you will have lots of choice in the £70 to £100 range. Some good sites for flat or house share are:
Gumtree.co.uk
Flatmateworld.co.uk
Housepals.co.uk
Flatmate.co.uk
Loot.com
They are all provide a free service to find rooms.
If you want to rent a complete flat or house then some useful sites are:
Rightmove.co.uk
Rentamatic.co.uk
A site launching early in August is simple2rent.co.uk, this is a totally free service website for tenants, landlords and agents. Whether you want a room or a house, DHS or paying yourself, this site will provide support. The site will even email you when an ad is placed matching your requirements – a totally free service
I am sure you will find what you want from one of the above sites.
Good luck
if ur gonna rent privatly then forget it babes as a student there is no way you would afford rent, best bet is to go with uni accomodation usually starting from around 80-100 per month, uni accomodations wicked too!!!
be with all ur mates ect…….. if not you need to go out of london to rent and commute which would still skin you alive considering london travel prices!!!
up to u but i would go for ‘halls’ best times of my life lol
