Look to the ETF’s …( EEM ..emerging mkts) ( XFI..China) ( XLF..Latin Am )…they won’t skyrocket like some individual stocks, but should be a real steady upswing ahead.
P.S. I also like a closed end fund ( MXE) that tracks Mexico’s markets…nice upswing for the last year.
If you’re not familiar with ETF’s..they are like a mutual fund, but they trade like a stock ( anytime during the day, in or out…plus you can buy-in as little or as big as you want…no minimum initial purchase like a mutual fund)
Another P.S….also look at the returns/charts for CHN or TDF .
I would tell you to check out my latest post in my blog on Zacks. In it I discuss about investing in foreign shares. There is a link to an article that discusses the many ways you can play emerging markets.
Also if you look at some older posts in my blog a good China stock play is Goldrea. They are a future producer of gold in China. There stock symbol is GORAF on the pink sheets and GOR on the Toronto Stock Exchange
