Ok so if i wanted to move to Japan for college i obviously would need to know some things,

I want to move there to learn Japanese, i plan on going to ICU (international christian University)

HOw much would it be to rent a small small apartment (average price in USD)

i would need a job, is there any jobs i could get if i only knew english???

And is there anything else i need to know????

And there is a thing that it makes it harder. I am a musician with a band so I will need money to get a studio or something at least one hour or 2 per week.

i plan on moving to japan in the future and i noticed a question before that in order to get an apartment somethimg about key money and how they usually dont rent to white folk. Is this true?

So, let’s say that on a website it says Key money-1 month rent. And lets say the apartment is $1800. So, would I pay an extra $1800 on Top of the rent for key money EACH month, or just when I move in?

hi im 14 and a freshman in high school. i want to go to japan to study and i was wondering if you could tell me some info on it such as. Are there requirments to go there such as grades or something? how much japanese do i need to learn? what are the pros and cons of this. if i go there do i have to live with random family or can i live with my grandma ( she lives in tokyo, i also have a aunt who lives in yokohama)( i am half japanese ) i have been to japan about 5 times so you dont need to tell me aout resspecting there culture or studying the language. i love japan and the culture more than anything and i enjoy studying the language. however my grades arent that great i have like a 82 average and in some classes my average isint that good such as in science. in order to study in japan is there a test or some mebership thing i need to know about? does my school have to allow it? i want to go to japan when im still in hs. can i rent a apartment or do i need to be 18? ( my parents will pay for it) how much are apartments in tokyo and yokohama. i have no idea about any of this stuff lol. thanks

I am from the UK and I want to know if it is really expensive to live to in Tokyo, I would want to rent a ‘very’ small apartment as size really doesn’t matter to me.

The apartment is in Tokyo and the rent is 7,801,000 Yen which is 79650 USD.

That’s for one person only. And will be staying in Tokyo. Probably August or Septembe. I would perhaps like to rent a short-let apartment (to share with my friend).

£5000= 673,207 yen
£5000= $7, 221 for our US friends

EDIT. not very frugal at all sadly, my friend is as tight as they come though- so it should balance itself out.
