I am doing a whirlwind tour with a friend. We fly into London for the weekend, thinking about taking the Eurostar to Paris, spend four days in Paris and then I have to head to Vienna…where I will meet up with another friend, but also fly home. Any suggestions of things to do or places to see on the way? Renting vs rail? Thanks

Has anyone experinced renting to the Council? Will they pay competetive rates?

we are planning to rent the apartment in paris for 10 days and the owner of it claims that he needs a 300 euros deposit and a copy of my and my fiances passport,is that normal thing to do when renting short term?
to me it sounds kinda fishy ,because where is the guarantee that he is going to give us those 300 euros back and why the heck does he need a passport copy?!

I have a nice 2 bedroom apartment on the 24th floor in new building. It is close to 2 or 3 Olympic venues in the west end of Beijing. I`m thinking about renting it out for the games to make a little extra cash.

Im staying in New York for the summer, from July until September, and I have no idea how the renting system works in the United States (I live in the UK).
Are there any websites that advertise affordable apartments for rent, I am a student after all.
