Thinking of moving to London and I am wondering how much it would cost if I rented a really small and basic flat in London just for one person(monthly cost).

I’m moving to london in august, but I don’t know how much a good rent is, or how often its paid. I see pw, and pcm, when I search online – what do they mean?

Preferably somewhere central.

I am moving for some years at least, with my wife and a newborn baby. I would be looking for a 2 bedroom flat to rent, in a nice, quiet place.
I am thinking to a budget in the £300 per week range.
I will be working in the city, and I would like to commute in no more than 30 minutes.
Nursery and school availability is also important. Is there a difference in quality depending on where you live in London?
