I been thinking to relocated to New York.And I need a nice neighorhood.That does not have a lot of crime or stuff like that.
Also I need to know where to get jobs in New York City.

I’m currently renting a 2bd flat in London with a colleague. Our 1-year lease agreement expired in April. I asked the Letting Agent to renew it, but with a 6-month break clause. Now, I realise that the rental prices for our building have dropped. It’s a lot lower than what we are paying now, and I’m kicking myself for not asking the Agent to lower the rent. Is there any way for me to ask for lower rent now? Or, do I have to wait for another 6 months before breaking the lease?

I am Chinese who travel a lot to US in New York. I want to rent one bed room apartment in New York City (could be around there in NJ). But I asked couple rental agent, they need Social Security Number, which I don’t have since I am holding business visit visa. So any body could help me out with this situation. Please give me a answer. Thanks
