I am planning to do a pastry diploma at Le Cordon Bleu, Paris. The course spans about 9 mths and following that, I plan to work at patissierres or bakeries in France to gain work experience. My queries are as follows:
1. Typically, how much does it cost per month to rent a studio apartment in Paris or at the outskirts of Paris?
2. How much should I allocate for daily expenses (food, transport) etc?
3. What other costs should I consider?
4. Is it for asians to find jobs as pastry apprentice in Paris? What is the average salary?

What kind of paperwork should I expect to be involved with renting the apartment? what is the best way to pay rent every month ( do I need to set up a french bank account)?
I will be a student living in paris and I need as much information as possible before contacting a landlord.

Does anyone know what it would cost to rent an apartment in Paris? What’s the cheapest deal I can find in a NICE and SAFE area?

Hi. I’ve got my apartment in Paris and it is all ready to be rented out. I would like to rent it out to holiday makers on a short-term basis and I’m looking for a management company to list it with. They would need to do everything including meet and greet and laundry and any problem solving as I am living in the UK. The one company I’ve approached so far provide a good service as I’ve stayed in one of their apartments before but I’m not overly enthusiastic with their terms and conditions as they include a lot of excessive fees that I would need to pay them before they take on the property. Could you pied a terre owners out there make any recommendations? Paris Attitude seems to have a good presence but what are they like from an owners point of view? Are there any other good ones? Thanks.
Thanks, but VRBO is just for advertising self managed properties. I need a company that will come in and clean the sheets, etc.

I love Paris and i want to live there but there are regulation to be accepted as a citizen of France. So i though i should enrol in a program to work in Paris . i found an organization that would help through my stay in paris but the accommodation isn’t included. So i though should i rent an apartment to work maybe in the summer or 1 year or buy an apartment so when i would to visit Paris, i would at least have a place to stay.
